為增進國際學生與臺灣學生彼此情誼，國際處於4月21日舉辦2024春季泰雅巴萊森活趣文化之旅，帶領學生至烏來體驗泰雅族原住民傳統文化，一系列活動包括泰雅傳統服飾、工藝、飲食及生活風俗之體驗。
活動以一杯具獨特風味的馬告蜂蜜茶開啟活力一天，過程中學生體驗了泰雅傳統服飾及紋面習俗，學習操作竹筒炮及野外求生陷阱。午餐享用自製竹筒飯和石板烤肉，體會一分耕耘一分收獲的價值觀。午後陽光正盛，同學們在射箭PK戰及彈弓訓練中學習泰雅獵人的養成，並發揮團隊協作精神與節奏感揮汗搗麻糬。在交流分享中，除增加雙方之文化理解，更加深外籍學生對臺灣文化之熟稔。
The office of international affairs organized the 2024 Ulay Atayal Spring Trip on April 21st with the purpose of enhancing the friendship between international students and Taiwanese students. Students were led to Ulay to experience the traditional culture of the Atayal indigenous tribe. The series of activities include Atayal traditional clothing, craft, cuisine, as well as lifestyle customs.
The energetic activity began with a glass of Moutain Litsea (Makauy) honey tea. The students experienced Atayal traditional clothing and facial tattooing customs, learned to operate bamboo cannons and wilderness survival traps. For lunch, students enjoyed homemade bamboo tube rice and slate barbecue, allowing them to appreciate the ethos of “no pain, no gain”. In the bright afternoon, students engaged in archery competition and slingshot training to learn about the cultivation of Atayal hunters, and work together as a team to pound mochi, exercising their rhythm and coordination. Through the exchange and sharing, not only do the participants deepen their cultural understanding, but the international students also acquire greater knowledge of Taiwanese culture.
