Congratulations! "The Flowing Feast" Flowing Water – 2023 Taoyuan Watercolor Biennial, curated by Professor Hsin-Tian Liao from the Graduate School of Arts Management and Cultural Policy of NTUA, has received two prestigious awards: 2024 MUSE Creative Awards and TITAN Innovation Awards Silver Prize. This event is not only a major art celebration but also a feast of cultural exchange and emotional aesthetics.
"The Flowing Feast" originally connotes a dining scene characterized by the fluidity and freedom of flowing clouds and water: sharing, ease, and satisfaction. This aptly reflects the material characteristics of watercolor: fluidity, blending, and sprightly. The curatorial team, consisting of Professor Hsin-Tian Liao from NTUA, watercolor artists Wen-Jane Yu, and Chia-Chi Liu, invited over 30 renowned watercolor artists from Taiwan and abroad. They showcased experimental innovation, subjective contemplation, dialogue expression, and local characteristics, aiming to open new possibilities for watercolor in the new century in Taiwan.
The MUSE Creative Awards is a prestigious international awards platform that celebrates excellence and creativity in the cultural and creative fields. It honors unique and impactful artistry. In addition to the visual arts event "The Flowing Feast," other notable winners from Taiwan include the Concert Tour of Taiwan singer LaLa Hsu (platinum award), the 2023 Hsinchu City International Kite Festival, Hakka TV’s 20th concert, Yunlin Santiaolun LeaveNoTrace Ocean Revitalization Campaign, the 2023 North Coast Light Festival, Zaijian Sustainable Fashion the SHOW, Xiluo Bridge Folk Art Parade Festival, and the 2023 Creative Expo Taoyuan, all of which won gold prizes, showcasing Taiwan's creative prowess.
