Congratulations! Ernie Ko, Ph.D., Chair of General Education Center from the College of Humanities Leads the Inti Red Bean Club (IRBC) to Receive Commendation at the Presidential Office for the Second Time!

The " Inti Red Bean Club "(IRBC) of National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA), led by Ernie Ko, Ph.D., Chair of General Education Center of the College of Humanities, received the honor of the 30th "Award of Outstanding Service Club" presented by the International Distinguished Citizens Society of R.O.C. On March 18, 2024, Chair Ernie Ko, Ph.D. and the Director of the IRBC, student Peggy Lin (a junior student in the Department of Graphic Communication Arts at NTUA), were invited to the Presidential Office to receive commendation from Vice President Ching-Te Lai.

From the initial review, through the secondary review, to finally winning the award, the IRBC was among the ten outstanding servicing clubs nationwide to receive the award. This summer, the IRBC will participate in international volunteer work in Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan, and has been selected as representatives of the overseas youth volunteer teams sponsored by the Ministry of Education. Furthermore, Peggy Lin, representing the IRBC, has been invited to the Presidential Office, where President Ching-Te Lai will meet them on June 14th.
