1• The scholarship scheme is an initiative by university to welcoming foreign students to pursue their studies in our school, and to promote the school internationalization and prestige through building international school-learning environment. All guidelines are set following fund management rules by Ministry of Education for tertiary schools admitting foreign students.
2• Application requirement:
A• Applicant must not be citizen of Republic of Taiwan . Applicant must be admitted foreign student of NTUA who has completed first semester of first academic year. (not including students with extended graduation)
B• Applicant must achieve at least 65 for average of academic result, 80 for conduct, and have no records of violation of school rules.
C• Students who have already rewarded with Taiwan Scholarship from Taiwan Government or other agencies are not qualified for application.
3• Supporting materials:
A• Application is open for every semester; completed application should be submitted to student affair department within 2 weeks after school open. Required supporting materials as followed:
B• Academic records of last semester
C• Photocopy of identity card
D• Photocopy of bank account.
4• Assessment criteria:
A• Number and amount of scholarship vary yearly according to foreign students' scholarship fund financed by Ministry of Education every year.
B• The ratio for each assessment criteria would be academic result 70%, conduct 20%, and achievement 10%. Short listed applicants may be required to attend an interview session when necessary, applications would be examined by principal and submitted to Ministry of Education.
C• Amounts rewarded for students from same faculty should not excess one-third of total scholarship fund.
5• Scholarship for successful applicant who applied for temporary leave would be terminated immediately from coming semester onwards.
