The Office of Student Affairs provides a variety of services and programs outside of the classroom to enhance the personal development of students. The office coordinates a variety of services that are each distinct and different, but nonetheless similar in their orientation toward student development, involvement, and service.
Advocates in the office are available for students who may need assistance with their personal adjustment to college, with an academic problem, or with interpretation of university policies and procedures. Advocacy and other special services also are provided for disabled, students from oversea, off-campus students, and women students. Educational programs and workshops in the areas of leadership, time management, stress management, and interpersonal skills are presented on an on-going basis and when requested by campus groups.
Counseling Service Division(CSD)
Counseling Service Division provides a wide range of services to help students benefit from their college experience and maintain their psychological well-being. Counseling may involve self-understanding, personal development, communication skills, or college adjustment. Groups and workshops are offered for personal growth, assertiveness, career exploration, stress management, and other issues. Other services include the Career Exploration Library, Learning Disabilities Screening, Orientation and Placement Testing, consultation, and outreach services. Career and personality testing services are available. Counseling services are free; however, there are, nominal fees for some testing services. Clients must be currently enrolled NTUA students.Counseling Service Dividion (CSD) coordinates those support services that students may need in order to reach their fullest academic potential. As part of The Dean of Students Office, the coordinator serves as a resource within the university community concerning students who have a disability. CSD provides advocacy, information, support, counseling, education, referral, and awareness to students, faculty, staff, the Pan-Chiao community, and the county of Taipei.

Health Promotion Division(HPD)
The Health Promotion Division include doctor and nurse consultations, physical exams, trauma care, sports medicine and healthy-care training and education, immunizations, pharmacy, diet and nutrition consultation, fitness consultation, computerized health risk appraisal, stress management, wellness assessment, workshops, student healthy insurance severice, and referral services.The clinic operates on a walk-in basis as well as on an appointment system for physical examinations and procedures. Extracurricular Activities Division(EAD)
The Extracurricular Activities Division (EAD) coordinates activities and provides services and programs for student organizations. The EAD staff has compiled a list of organizations to better inform students of the opportunities available to them outside the classroom. The list is available in the the Extracurricular Activities Division.The EAD is responsible for registering 2000 students, campus, and community organizations. The staff provides consultative services to student leaders, members, and advisers of organizations on an individual basis or in groups. They also have staff who provides training workshops and facilitates retreats for student groups.The EAD also annually publishes the Extracurricular Activities Division Manual which informs students and advisers about university policies and procedures that affect their organizations. The EAD is also responsible for all the scholarship application for local students and students from oversea. In addition, the EAD organized an” Oversea Chinese and Foreign Student Section” to provide assistances for oversea Chinese students and international students in their academic learning and off-campus life.

Life Guidance Division(LGD)
The Life Guidance Division is in charge of the followings:1. Student Housing Services – the school at present owns one hall of residence for male students, two halls for female students, and one hall for graduate students. The university has approximately 800students living in dormitories including both undergraduate and graduate students. There are 23﹪of undergrauate male students, 74﹪undergraduate female students, 3﹪graduate students are addmitted to accommodate in the dormitories. To coordinate with the student self-discipline systems, student dormitories organize an autonomy committee to stipulate the Dormitory Management Regulations. It also provides off-campus rental information.
2. Management of students’incentives and reprimands.
3. Student leave –requests for absence.
4. Other matters –includes advisory activities (safety, traffic, laws etc), handling of letters and packages for students, issuing monthly bus tickets for students, parking permits for motorcycles etc.
